AlertCommunities tells you about danger near you before it reaches you.

See what is happening around you on a live civic-safety map — floods, fires, crime, severe
weather and community issues — reported by neighbours, verified by agencies, and drawn from
official sources. Get a warning on your phone when something is reported close to where you
are, even when the app is closed and even if you have no account.

WHAT IT DOES
• Live map of open incidents near you, with verified and official alerts marked
• Proximity alerts for fire, flood, crime, weather and others — tuned to your saved places and radius
• Report an issue with a photo, video or voice note; it sends the moment you have signal, even
if you were offline when you filed it
• Ask for help: a beacon shares your position with responders only while your request is open
• SafeNet: know your people are safe, and be told when they are not
• Communities: join your neighbourhood, hear announcements from its leaders, and see what is
happening on your streets this month
• Preparedness guides for floods, fires and more, in ten languages
• Warnings about emergencies within 1 km while you walk, and hazards on the road ahead while
you drive
• Ada, the assistant: ask how to do anything in the app, or what is happening near you

OPEN TO THE WORLD
Works on any network, in English, French, Hausa, Swahili, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Spanish,
Portuguese and Russian.

YOUR DATA
Your location is used only to warn you about danger near you and, if you choose, to share
where you are with your SafeNet. It is never sold and never shared with other people. Only
your latest position is kept, for at most a day. Walking warnings have their own off switch,
and you can delete your account at any time.

Floods, fires and crime do not wait. Neither should the warning.
