ABQAC Bible Quiz is the official practice app of the Africa Bible Quiz
Association Consortium. It is built for quizzers preparing for ABQAC
tournaments, and for anyone who wants to know their Bible better.

PRACTISE THE WAY YOU LEARN BEST

Four practice modes, each training something different:

• Open Drill — steady practice with no clock, at your own pace
• Rapid Fire — beat the timer and build recall speed
• Sharpshooter — accuracy under pressure, where mistakes end the round
• Confidence Round — the question disappears, then you answer from memory

Choose any book, chapter or range of verses. Answers are marked instantly, and
close spelling is accepted, so an answer you know is never marked wrong over a
missing letter.

MEMORISE SCRIPTURE THAT STAYS MEMORISED

The Upper Room breaks a passage into stages you can actually finish. Two verses
at a time, words disappearing a few at a time until nothing is left to read, then
a review across everything you have learned so far — with the gaps in new places,
so you cannot pass by remembering where the holes were.

Choose a whole chapter and the app plans the work for you rather than telling you
it is too much.

SAY IT ALOUD

Hold the microphone and recite the verse. The app marks you word by word and
tells you which words you missed — a real answer to "did I get it?" instead of
asking you to grade yourself. Or have the passage read aloud to you.

VERSES COME BACK BEFORE YOU FORGET THEM

Every verse you learn is scheduled for review using spaced repetition, so it
returns just as it starts to fade. A verse learned and never revisited is a verse
lost.

DAILY MANNA

A fresh set of questions every day, drawn only from the portion you have reached
in your tournament preparation — so it grows with you rather than asking about
chapters you have not started.

COMPETE

Leaderboards reward consistency rather than grinding: there is a daily cap, and
accuracy and days practised count as well as points.

PREPARE FOR A TOURNAMENT

Enrol in an ABQAC tournament and the app builds a memorisation plan from the
official portion, your deadline and the days you can practise. It tells you what
to do today, and rebuilds itself when you fall behind.

WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET

Download a book and practise on the bus, in a power cut, anywhere. Your sessions
upload when you reconnect. You do not need an account at all to practise, read or
memorise — create one only when you want your progress saved, a place on the
leaderboard, or a tournament.
