Metabolódromo

The Metabolodrome is a tool to know if you have Metabolic Syndrome. In addition, using this App you will be able to know what are the parameters that define the Metabolic Syndrome and the cut-off points that determine if a parameter is altered or not.

The five parameters that define the Metabolic Syndrome are:
- Waist circumference
- Blood pressure
- Triglycerides in blood
- Blood glucose
- HDL cholesterol in blood ("good" cholesterol)

The last three parameters of the above list must be obtained by chemistry analysis on a fasting blood sample of 12 hours.

Keep in mind that the Metabolodrome is only a tool for didactic purposes and that the "normal" and "altered" limits of the parameters contemplate a population of young people between 18 and 24 years of age.
