Open Bookmarks Slowly is a Firefox extension designed to improve the experience of opening large bookmark folders. Unlike the built-in "Open All in Tabs" feature, which opens all bookmarks at once and may cause browser slowdowns or incomplete page loads, this extension opens bookmarks incrementally, a few at a time. It waits for prior tabs to fully load before opening more, ensuring smooth browsing without overwhelming the browser.

The extension adds a convenient "Open All Slowly" option to the context menu for bookmark folders. It also detects loading issues like redirects or errors and attempts retries if necessary. You can continue browsing in other windows while bookmarks load in the background, and optionally receive a notification when all bookmarks have finished loading. Open Bookmarks Slowly respects your privacy, requires minimal permissions, and is open-source software licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0.

Dev - you should open bookmarks UNLOADED. This takes no time or resources. And edited bookmark names are shown as the tab titles, not overwritten and can be reapplied to the tab title while loading if necessary. (By Tab ReTitle.) Then user can choose which to open and when.
