ownCloud.online is appreciated for enabling connections to various ownCloud servers and serving as a reliable client even for older servers. Users found it helpful especially during lockdowns. However, recent updates restricting file access to a secure storage broke offline usage with other apps. The mandatory paid subscription with required credit card info and questionable trial charges caused dissatisfaction. Additionally, background uploading is not supported, requiring the app to be open, and some users dislike the green UI color.

Stuck in server

Mostly useless, by now. This is generally a good app, since it allows to connect to arbitrary owncloud instances, including private ones. However, the recent update with "storing files in a more secure location on the phone" crashed my use case. I want to manage my huge mp3 collection with selective download of files, which are then picked up by the VLC app, when "set available as offline". This unfortunately no longer works, since the secure store hides downloads from other apps. I understand, that this is a feature for some, but it should also be possible to deliberately not use this. I unfortunately can not revers to the old way now.
