Lens is an app for teachers to systematically observe, document, and evaluate the behavior and learning progress of individual students over time (educational progress monitoring).

Instead of isolated snapshots, numerous short, regular assessments create a clear picture of development—presented as a concise progress chart. This makes it easy to track whether support measures are effective.

ASSESS BEHAVIOR
Define specific target behaviors (e.g., "stays on task" or "disrupts the class") and record progress with quick daily assessments: simply adjust the value on a slider—just a few seconds per entry.

ANALYZE PROGRESSIONS
Lens automatically generates progress charts and statistical indicators (including trend, NAP, and Tau-U) from the assessments. This allows you to demonstrate progress rather than just guessing.

COMPARE PHASES
Mark when a support measure begins. Lens compares the initial situation (baseline) with the support phase and visualizes its impact. The time periods can be adjusted at any time.

DIARY: DOCUMENT OBSERVATIONS
Record daily observations as free text – independent of assessments. Optionally, use voice memos: The dictation is converted directly to text on your device; no audio recording is saved.

COLLABORATE IN A TEAM
Create your school or join an existing one and share individual cases with colleagues for collaborative documentation.

EXPORT DATA
Export the recorded data as a CSV file or as a readable log, e.g., for support plans, parent-teacher conferences, or reports.

DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)
The protection of student data is paramount: Data is collected pseudonymously, real names are stored separately, and the app also works offline.
