Lekhaa - School Management

Lekhaa is school management software for the school office. It keeps admissions, fee collection and
staff records in one place, so the register, the receipt book and the spreadsheet stop disagreeing
with each other.

Built for Indian schools: rupee amounts, April–March academic years, admission and registration
numbers, and guardian details the way schools actually record them.

ADMISSIONS
• A complete admission form — student details, father and mother information, address, documents
• Attach birth certificates, ID and previous marksheets to a student's record
• Link an existing guardian instead of typing a parent twice for a second child
• Raise the admission invoice at the same time, so a new joiner is never billed late
• Bulk-import students and staff from a spreadsheet (web and desktop)

FEES
• Set fee heads once, then price them per class on a single editable grid
• Bill monthly, quarterly, per term, half-yearly, annually or one-time — per fee head
• Publish invoices for the whole campus in one step
• Collect at the counter in seconds; payment clears the oldest dues first
• Print receipts on A4 or a thermal roll
• Take one payment from a parent and split it across their children
• Record concessions, optional services like transport, and counter charges like uniforms
• Overpayment becomes an advance that carries forward to the next invoice

THE LEDGER
Every charge, payment and concession is an entry on the student's ledger, and entries are never
edited or deleted. A correction is recorded as a further entry, so the trail of what was billed,
what was paid and what is still owed stays intact and auditable.

• Mark student attendance class by class
• Mark staff attendance
• Review history for any student or employee

STAFF
• Employee records with designation, qualifications, joining date and salary
• Teachers carry subjects and can be assigned to classes

PARENT REMINDERS
Send fee reminders and receipts over WhatsApp using your school's own WhatsApp Business account —
messages go out from your school's number, to guardians who have consented.
