OnChrome Firefox

OnChrome

This extension lets you define what URLs you want to open on Chrome. It automatically opens them every time you visit them. REQUIRES INSTALLING AN APPLICATION.

Features & Capabilities

OnChrome is a convenient Chrome extension designed to automatically open specified URLs in Google Chrome every time you visit them, enhancing your browsing experience especially if you use multiple browsers. This is particularly useful if some services, like Hangouts or Meet, work better in Chrome compared to other browsers.

Note: OnChrome requires installation of an additional native application for seamless operation. This combination ensures your chosen URLs always launch in Chrome, streamlining your workflow. Installation instructions and the required application can be found at the official site: https://onchrome.gervas.io/native-applications.

This does exactly what I wanted it to do. Thank you so much for making & sharing it. Chocolatey install failed, but manually installing the msi worked.

It's not obvious but to configure the extension, you need to click the "Extensions" menu (jigsaw puzzle piece) on your toolbar, and click the OnChrome icon within there to set up the URL patterns.

Perfect - like the author, I want to use Google Meet in Chrome but Firefox for everything else, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I couldn't use brew to install the native extra application, but I installed in manually and everything worked fine. It's wonderful when people solve their own technical problems and then release the solutions for others to benefit from, thanks very much to Gervasio.
