ORIGINAL:

Less than a month ago, Disqus has decided to hide the downvote counters of its comments. Less than a day ago, I have learned that the number of downvotes is still kept in a classname property. This extension simply displays that information.

However, unlike upvotes, the classname does not seem to be updated automatically. It is possible that this extension may not work in time, without any alternatives. Hopefully, this will become obsolete.

For the most part this doesn't work but I appreciate the effort made by the author. I hope a competitor comes along that has downvotes and eats Disqus and Facebook for lunch. To BlueNinja, you may have missed where I said "For the most part it doesn't work". Regardless since almost no one bothers downvoting because its not visible unless someone knows about this obscure Chrome extension. No way to do this with Firefox or Edge or IE.
