User Reviews

Users find Omnibug useful for testing and analyzing analytics implementations, particularly appreciating its ability to parse data from certain tools like Segment.io. However, the add-on has inconsistent parsing capabilities across different platforms and lacks adequate documentation or support, leading to difficulties in usage. Additionally, a reported update caused the extension to stop working due to certificate issues, impacting user experience.
Pros
  • Useful for testing analytics implementations.
  • Provides parsed data for some analytics tools like Segment.io.
  • Helpful for daily use in both Firefox and Chrome.
Cons
  • Parsing is inconsistent across different analytics platforms, e.g., poor parsing for Mixpanel.
  • Lacks clear user instructions or support materials, making it hard to use for some users.
  • Stopped working after a recent update due to certificate recognition issues.

pretty good, but definitely parses some tools far better than others, e.g. Segment.io it gives a nice parsed data of what the tracked data is, Mixpanel it just gives an unparsed hashstring and no useful data.
