Well, it works fine for what it's for. Most of the negative reviews here seem to be a vain attempt at getting this app removed from the web store and/or to vent.

this is the worst application to practice ANYTHING. The point system is shouldn't even be in a practice program. Your trying to teach kids how to learn, not to simply google the answers because of how broken the system is. IXl is not for older kids, older kids tend to focus on things that are fun and that's why their GPA score is a lot lower than younger kids GPA score. Get rid of the point system and give us an actual grade instead of forcing us to get a 100. When we practice, we are expected to get things wrong and that's okay. But, forcing us to get it right is just plain out wrong. IXl would be entertaining without the point system. Doing a summer packet on IXL is hell. Do better IXL -a 7th grade student.
