What is Distance Measure?

"Distance Measure" is a Chrome extension designed for planning and measuring the distance for your next run or bike trip. It allows you to create and modify way-points by simply clicking on the map and enables the user to see the distance in km, miles or nautical miles. The application lets you save your route as KML file to share or load in your favourite mapping apps. An important feature is that the developer does not track your location or points entered to maintain user privacy.

Declined offer to download from their website when Malwarebytes identified them as potentially unsafe. I was also concerned about privacy issues. Disappointing.
