2023-11-19	FamKis	en	This is absolutely awesome. You even provided a desktop app for global use on Windows in any application! It would be great if it were possible to show some indicator next to the cursor about the progress of the speech recognition, possibly even with live indication of the words as you speak and as they are processed. LillySpeech can do that, for example, using the Google Speech API. Of course, if the OpenAI API does not provide that function, it is probably not possible, but maybe at some stage in the future. It is even more awesome that you can dictate in multiple languages. Gerade so, wie es dir gefällt, sogar in ein- und derselben Äußerung des Diktats. Of course, this review was also dictated using your amazing desktop app 👍👍👍 It would also be great if the app could be sent to the Windows tray, and if the microphone icon of the app in the taskbar or in the tray would change its color in order to signalize whether the microphone is active and listening, or inactive. Edit: I just found this amazing fork which adds the ability to minimize whispering to the Tray, including a visual indicator when it's active and listening! https://github.com/braden-w/whispering/issues/69

OpenAI's Whisper is an order of magnitude better than any other speech to text model and making it accessible in the browser and especially with the MacOS app is a gift - thanks for putting in the time to make this!

It works not just on the ChatGPT website, also on other websites, but not every single site works, but I don't think that's the problem of the extension. I do have a suggestion, which is maybe on the settings page where user inputs the API key, add some security features, maybe block the key or hide it. Because this is a client side application, I think people do want extra security in it. Thank you very much for creating this wonderful extension.
2023-12-23	Florijn de Graaf	en	Worked excellent until a few days ago when everytime I use a voice message to type it triggers the "prove you are not a bot" popup and I have to complete 6 captcha's for every single message. It's driving me crazy.
