Inspiration came up to me after using Jira for years and noticing that when clicking on Gitlab cards, it would only display a sidebar with limited information.

Setup: Generate a Gitlab Access Token (with at least API read capabilities). Head to the extension option page and let it guide you! This extension stores your Access Token on your local browser, NOT online.

Features:

Click on any issue card in the Gitlab Board view to create a popup with the Issue title + description
Click on an issue card again to remove the popup
Use the ESC key to close all popups
Popups are draggable across the page, allowing you to move them around and organize them as you see fit
