Github Active Forks

Adds an active forks section on a Github Page

Github Active Forks is an open-source Chrome extension that enriches your Github repository experience by adding an active forks section directly on repository pages. This extension allows users to customize the number of forks displayed (from 1 to 100) and sort them by most starred, latest commits, or the number of sub-forks — all without making extra Github API calls, helping you avoid rate limits.

Ideal for developers and open-source enthusiasts, Github Active Forks provides quick insights into the most active and influential forks of any repository right from the Github interface. Explore, track, and engage with the most impactful forks effortlessly.

Works as expected.

hey, this is pretty good... was looking at Lovely Forks and Useful Forks, but this may be better, you can usually see Recent and Most Starred at the same time without leaving the repo page

Extension safety

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Github Active Forks requires very minimum permissions.
