Features & Capabilities

OCR It reads text out of documents you can only page through: scanned books, slide decks, PDFs, and readers that won't let you select text.

Drag out a capture region once. After that, every press of the hotkey screenshots that exact rectangle, runs OCR on it, and appends the result to a running transcript. Or start an automatic run and let it capture, turn the page, and repeat until the document ends.

• Set the region once — adjust it with handles or nudge it pixel by pixel • One hotkey per page, or a fully automatic run that stops itself at the end • Every page keeps a thumbnail of exactly what was cropped, so a misaligned region is obvious immediately • Edit any page's text in place, re-run a bad read, export everything as one text file • Repeated pages are flagged, so you notice when the document didn't actually turn • English, Portuguese and Spanish

Everything runs on your computer. The extension makes no network requests: no API key, no account, no uploads, no analytics. Text recognition uses a Tesseract engine bundled inside the extension itself.
