I built an extension so that I could skip these sections without missing any part of the stream
Steps:
- Add the extension
- Go to the stream vod
- Refresh the page once more
- Click the 'Skip' button next to the 'Settings' button when the stream gets muted

As of 7/7/24, only decides to work very rarely, regardless of settings or how many times you refresh the page.
