I have Dyslexia and ADHD. I wanted something that could change the font family, size and colour from that awful grey that so many sites are using, to black.
The most important thing of all for me, however, was to be able to easily change the spacing between lines.
This extension does all of that.
I did observe one or two problems with some websites, i'e Twitter and Facebook, where I wasn't able to see pictures, but that could have been a conflict with other extensions that I am using. In any case, it is easy to turn it off when necessary.
The best thing about it is it's simplicity. I didn't get bogged down by lots of settings, it's really straightforward
I am very happy with it so far.
It's simple and works really well. I'm "VERY" dyslexic and when I use Dyslexia Reader chrome with the Dark Mode Web extension I can read with much less effort and comfortably for long periods. Which is liberating as I can immerse my self in deep learning instead of bouncing around the first paragraphs of tutorials in an endless search for someone who just cuts straight to the chase.
This is really helpful for websites. :)
We ran it on slack and it changes the fonts fine.
Did have to turn off the background and foreground colour changers, as they caused screen to blink a lot and patches to go completely dark.
Recommended to configure with a font that you like (which is a super personal choice). <3
