Connect KMC is a Flutter-based mobile application built for residents and visitors of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC). It serves as a unified platform for urban navigation, civic engagement, and emergency response, tightly integrated with live map data and city services.

Key Features:

Maps & Address Lookup — An interactive map powered by Open Location Code (Plus Codes) lets users tap any point on the city map to instantly retrieve its address or plus code. Supports live GPS tracking, animated marker clusters, location search, and routing.

Explore Public Places — Browse city-registered public places (hospitals, schools, government offices, parks, and more) plotted on an interactive map. Filter by category, search by name, and get directions — all sourced from the KMC public places API.

Emergency Response Center (ERC) — One-tap access to emergency services: Medical Aid, Security/Police, Fire Brigade, and Public Health Hazard contacts. Also includes a Public Eye reporting tool that lets citizens submit geo-tagged incident reports with photos, voice recordings, and text descriptions.

Saved Addresses — Save and manage frequently used personal locations. Each saved address is pinned on a map and searchable, making it easy to revisit or share important places.

House Number Registration — Residents can register their property with official house numbers, attaching GPS coordinates and supporting documents, helping KMC build an accurate digital address registry.
