Federation of Parents of Intellectual Disability, Nepal is the only umbrella organization active in the field of Intellectual Disability Rights at the national level, leading the campaign for the rights of Intellectual Disability. It conducts its programs in thematic areas such as inclusive education, self-advocacy, the elimination of all forms of violence against women and children, lobbying for basic rights, sustainability, and capacity development, to promote and mobilize the intellectually disabled and their parents in line with a rights-oriented approach.
