I used to love this unconditionally. But since the last update they now have video ads which come on unexpectedly and scare the life out of me if I don't happen to have my phone volume on low. Very annoying on an otherwise useful app.

The privacy choice is presented as either “consent” or “manage my options.” However, under “manage my options,” hundreds of vendors are already switched on, and users must disable them manually, one by one. This appears designed to frustrate users into giving up and allowing their personal data to be used. Consent under EU data-protection law must be freely given, specific, informed, and as easy to withdraw or refuse as it is to give.
