Notes & Todos Sidebar is a simple workspace for writing Markdown notes and managing expandable todo lists directly in Firefox.

Create notes in a focused modal, write with Markdown, and switch between editing and previewing your notes. Create one todo or several todos at once, expand tasks into subtasks, edit task text, check items off, view progress, and clear completed work.

The core features work locally without an account, subscription, or API key. Your notes and todos are stored in Firefox storage.

An optional OpenAI feature can turn a todo prompt into organized parent tasks and subtasks. You provide your own API key in Settings, and the prompt is sent to OpenAI only when you choose “Break down”. No AI request happens in the background.

The add-on does not read your browsing history, bookmarks, page contents, form data, or open tabs.
