Note Pro

Note Pro is a notepad that lives in Firefox's sidebar. It has no account, no server, and no cloud sync. Every note stays securely in your own browser.

Open the sidebar next to any webpage and start writing. Attach a note to a page, an entire website, or one specific URL, and it will be there the next time you visit.

Keep everything tidy with workspaces, projects, folders, color-coded categories, free-form tags, plus Starred, Recent, and Archive collections.

Search across note titles, content, websites, tags, labels, checklist items, and bookmarked pages. Narrow results with filters such as:

Write with rich text formatting, highlights, text colors, headings, tables, code blocks with syntax highlighting, LaTeX formulas, flowcharts, sequence diagrams, checklists, emoji and symbol pickers, local images, and file attachments.

Turn any checklist into actionable tasks. Every checklist item appears in the Tasks view with its due date and priority, while the original note remains the single source of truth.

Save webpages with ratings, read-later flags, and unlimited notes.

Connect notes using [[Note Title]]. Instantly see which notes link to each other with automatic backlinks.

Protect sensitive notes with a single password. Locked notes are encrypted using PBKDF2-SHA256 and AES-GCM. Plain text is never stored, and locked notes remain hidden from search until unlocked. There is no password recovery, so keep your password safe.

Export individual notes or entire workspaces as PDF, Word, Markdown, HTML, PNG, or JSON.

Create a share file, optionally protected with a passphrase, and send it however you choose. Shared notes are independent copies—future edits do not sync.

Summarize, explain, rewrite, translate, extract action items, generate meeting notes, and ask questions about your notes. AI features use Firefox's supported on-device AI capabilities when available. If your Firefox version or device does not support on-device AI, the AI features are simply hidden.
