PRIVACY FIRST

TaskLock is a chore and screen time tool, not a surveillance app. We don't track location, read messages, or log browsing.

In offline mode, all data stays on the device. With remote features on, only parental-control data syncs between your paired devices: tasks, completion status, approvals, and settings.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (REQUIRED FOR APP BLOCKING)

TaskLock uses Android Accessibility only to detect when a selected app is opened and to show the lock screen.

TaskLock does NOT:
• Read screen content, messages, or passwords
• Monitor activity inside other apps
• Perform actions inside other apps

This permission is required for real-time app blocking on many Android devices. You can turn it off anytime in Settings → Accessibility.
