Re-start

Re-start (also written Restart) is Norway's digital medical weight clinic: follow-up with a doctor for those who want to lose weight. The app is the place where you meet the clinic between appointments.

Obesity is biology, not character. It is the starting point for everything we do, and for the way the app speaks to you.

In the app you will find:

Your treatment
The plan the doctor has made for you, as it is right now. You see what applies this week, and you get a reminder when it is time for the next step.

My health
A short weekly registration of sleep, activity, appetite and mood - and an overview that shows how it develops over time. It takes a minute, and it gives your doctor something to talk about.

Messages
Write to the clinic when it suits you. You will get a response from the treatment team, not from a robot. Everything you write becomes part of your medical record.

Appointments and video consultation
See the appointments you have, and join the video meeting with one tap when the appointment is there.

Learn
Articles written by the clinic's own professional community, about the biology behind weight, about food, sleep and movement, and about what actually works over time.

Security
You log in with BankID. Your information is health information and is processed accordingly: it is stored in Norway and Europe, it is encrypted, and every entry in your medical record is logged. You can lock the app with fingerprint or facial recognition, and you can at any time request access to who has seen what.

Re-start is a Norwegian health service with a medical record obligation. The app does not replace contact with your doctor - it is the one.

The app is not a medical device. It does not make a diagnosis, and it does not treat, cure or prevent any disease. Always contact a doctor or other healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis and treatment.
