Join other people's trips, or invite others to yours. Meet others with the same travel interests. Experience new nature. Get to know new people. Share the experiences - For real.

I Join UT! you post your trips before you go on them, so that others can join - or you can join trips that others have posted. This can be in all kinds of outdoor activities. On foot, on skis, by bike, in a kayak, etc. You can post trips with a specific starting place and time, or you can keep it open, and later adapt it to those who want to join.

Join UT! is neither the organizer nor responsible for any of the tours. We want to make it possible for several people with common travel interests to go on trips together.

You can take a look at the trips without registering a user account, but then there are a number of details that will not be visible. To send a request to join tours, and post your own tours, you must create a user account.

When you post a trip, you describe it with text and a picture, and categorize it by type and degree of difficulty. The starting place, time and length can be decided immediately, or kept open. In any case, only the participants on the tour can see the exact time and place. If you are going on a trip that has already been described elsewhere, e.g. on ut.no, you can enter a link to their tour description.

Trips can be filtered by most characteristics, including location on the map. You can save searches based on a filter, which will later give you notifications when there are new trips that match your filter. You can also bookmark the trips you want to easily find again later.

When you find a trip that you want to join, you send a request to the initiator of the trip, together with a message where you can introduce yourself. You can then clarify expectations and any ambiguities in messages to each other, before the initiator approves or declines participation. If you change your mind, you can withdraw from the trip.

The status of participation in trips, and who is registered, is always easily accessible to the initiator and the participants. Other users, who are not going to participate in the trip, only see the gender and age of the participants (if stated). You can also get a simple overview of all the trips you are going on, both as initiator and participant.

This is an early version of Bli med UT!, which contains what we think is the necessary core functionality. We have many plans for more features that will come in time, but would also very much like to hear from you - what you think can be improved and/or prioritized going forward.
