Báikenamat

The aim of this app is to preserve Sami place names, stories, events, explanations and historical information about the place names in Finnmark. For now, place names have been obtained in Nesseby and Porsanger municipalities, but the plan is to get the same overview throughout Finnmark. The app shows a map of the areas where the Sami names are plotted with coordinates, an audio file with the correct pronunciation of the place names, pictures and general information.
