mini authenticator

minimal open source authenticator that never store your secret keys

What is mini authenticator?
mini authenticator is a minimal open source Chrome extension that generates time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for two-factor authentication (2FA). It does not require special permissions, does not store secret keys, and works offline. The extension is designed to be simple, secure, and open source, allowing users to rely on password managers for secret key management and letting mini authenticator focus solely on generating TOTP codes.

Helped with GitHub, thanks.

This is not for me (I prefer the convenience of not having to enter the secrets every time), but I appreciate the minimalism and open source ethos. Thanks also for the recommendation of authenticator.cc, another open source 2FA extension — I'm now using it and happy with it. (Btw, I'd suggest adding "2FA" to this extension's short description to make it more discoverable)

Brilliantly simple, fast and safe. For everything else I use 1Password
