Extension summary

This extension allows you to search the Java API directly from the Chrome Omnibox. Simply type "javadoc", then a space or a tab and a search term of interest (e.g. "ArrayList", "Map.Entry") and you will be taken to the most relevant page within Oracle's public Javadocs. You can specify the JDK version (9 through 13, inclusive) by putting it before the search term (e.g. "javadoc 12 HashMap").

This is very much a work in progress, so please be patient and report any and all bugs / issues on the extension's GitHub page at github.com/awwsmm/java-api-search.

User reviews

Just installed and gave it a few tries, it worked as expected. Would be great to be able to set a jdk as default, that be worth 5* for me. Edit: maybe a preference for classes over packages would be handy or make it case sensitive. When I search for the Math class I always end up in the package.
