OVpay is your essential companion app for seamless travel on Dutch public transport. Easily check in and out using your contactless card or phone and confirm your trips within the app. If you forget to check in or out, you can conveniently adjust missed journeys up to 60 days later.

Keep track of all your journeys and travel costs from the past 18 months in one clear overview. OVpay also lets you create and send travel expense reports directly to your employer or receive them as PDF via email. You can add up to 10 different cards, each customizable by name and color, great for users managing multiple payment cards. If you qualify for the 34% age-based discount, simply add it to your account with your details and photo.

Very complicated. The app is full of jargon, which makes it difficult (even as a native Dutch speaker). Also, lots of privacy issues, as every move is logged. edit - A year later (2025), app still doesn't work, on every page the same message : 'sorry, er ging bij ons iets mis. Probeer het later nog eens'.

A very convenient app to check in and out with smartphone because of the (nearly) immediate status messages in the app when checking in or out. WARNING: when a card is added and ">65 year discount" is activated, this is NOT VALID for the next added card, and the user is NOT NOTIFIED to REPEAT the procedure ">65 year discount" for the next added card ! The >65 procedure needs to be repeated for EACH card !!
