RapidMotion TMS

RapidMotion TMS is the work app for the drivers of RapidMotion B.V., a transport company based in 's-Hertogenbosch specializing in express and dedicated transport within the Benelux and Europe.

The app is intended for company staff. Logging in is only possible with an account created by the administrator.

WHAT THE DRIVER DOES WITH IT

• View his trips, including all stops, scheduled arrival times, and details per address
• Navigate per address with a single tap
• Sign off at every stop, including the name of the person signing and a photo of the cargo
• Photograph the consignment note and record it digitally
• Track his hours and kilometers driven
• View his own route on the map after a trip, including kilometers and driving time

WHAT THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT DOES WITH IT

The planning department sees where the vehicles are driving and can provide the customer with a reliable arrival time. In the event of a delay, the customer is called instead of the other way around. LOCATION IN THE BACKGROUND

During a started trip, the app records the vehicle's position, even when the screen is off. This is necessary for the scheduling system to function, to allow the customer to monitor the progress, and for the vehicle mileage tracking.

The measurement begins as soon as the driver starts a trip and stops as soon as they complete it. Nothing is recorded outside of an ongoing trip. Drivers are informed of this in advance and can review what has been recorded after each trip.
