Cellular Network Analyzer (CNA) turns your Android phone into a powerful, easy-to-use field test and network monitor tool. Whether you're just curious why your signal drops on your commute, or you're a telecom engineer doing a drive test, CNA shows you exactly how the 2G / 3G / 4G LTE / 5G NR network is handling your phone — and it's free.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- See your live cell connection: network type, operator (MCC/MNC), cell ID, LAC/TAC, signal strength (RSRP/RSRQ/dBm), call state and data state.
- Inspect the frequencies and bands in use, band number, 3GPP band name, (E)ARFCN, downlink/uplink frequency, channel bandwidth and carrier aggregation, on a dedicated spectrum view for both downlink and uplink.
- Find cell towers: CNA estimates the location of the base station serving you and draws it on a live map, with the distance to it.
- Drive-test logging: record signal strength and cell connections along any route, then replay them on an interactive map. The line between you and each tower is colour-coded by signal strength, so coverage holes and strong spots jump out at a glance.
- Export your logs to Google Earth (KMZ) for stunning coverage visualisations, or to CSV for analysis in Excel — averages, filtering by network type, charts and more.

FREE TO USE
CNA is completely free, including all live cellular-parameter display (signal strength, cell ID, MCC/MNC, LAC/TAC, bands, frequencies) and unlimited logging and exporting. The only thing that carries a small cost is looking up cell-tower locations, because that runs on a paid server: you get 10 free tower-location lookups every month, and you only need to sign in
with Google if you want to use that feature. Everything else works with no account at all.
