PED select.NL

On July 19, 2016, the new Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68/EU) entered into force. On this date, the new Pressure Equipment Commodities Act Decree 2016 (WBDA) and the Pressure Equipment Commodities Act Regulation 2016 also entered into force. This PED select.NL app is a tool for classifying pressure equipment into the correct category. Pressure equipment manufacturers can also determine the module to follow. For performing inspections during use, owners/users of pressure equipment can determine whether the WBDA or the Working Conditions Decree applies. The app takes into account various exceptions in the law, such as not performing the Inspection Before Putting into Use (KvI) but still performing the re-inspection for specific installations.
