If you lay the banknote flat on the table and hold your mobile above it, the app recognizes your banknote, takes a photo and compares it with information from real banknotes. The app will let you know if the ticket is OK. If the app cannot see whether the ticket is OK, you will receive a notification. Note: It may be that the note is counterfeit, but it is also possible that the note is genuine, but too wrinkled or worn. Therefore, check yourself in all cases with the 'look, feel, tilt method' via the 'view the features' button in the app. This allows you to check the security features on your euro banknote yourself.
