Buurplein is the Dutch neighborhood watch app that keeps you vigilant and involved in what is happening in your neighborhood. Report suspicious situations, warn your neighbors, help each other, and stay up to date on local news and events.

Safety & Neighborhood Watch
Do you see a suspicious situation, theft, or vandalism? File a safety report and warn residents in the area. In the event of an active situation, a group chat can be started immediately to coordinate with one another.

Additionally, you will find useful safety information in the app. Check when to call 112, find important non-emergency numbers, and view recent incidents and burglaries in your area via police information.

The Reporting Point
Has your bicycle or other property been stolen? Or is your pet missing? File a report via The Reporting Point.

Reports are shared with users within a radius of 25 kilometers, so that more people in the area can keep an eye out and the chance of recovery increases.

Help your neighbors
Need a helping hand? Via Buurplein, you can easily ask for help from people in your area.

For example, ask for help with:

Borrowing tools
Transportation
Dog walking or pet sitting

You decide within what distance your request for help is visible and can stay in touch via the built-in chat.

Local news
Stay up to date on what is happening in your province. Buurplein collects regional news from various local sources in one clear feed.

Messages about the same topic are grouped where possible, and you decide which sources you want to see or not.

Events in your neighborhood
Discover what is happening locally and regionally. From a neighborhood barbecue or cleanup to larger events in your province.

Neighborhood residents can organize activities themselves and share them with people in the area.
