Janmanrega is a citizen-centric Chrome extension designed to facilitate feedback on assets created under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). Developed collaboratively by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), National Informatics Centre (NIC), and National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), it enables users to access geotagged MGNREGA assets via the Indian Space Research Organisation's Bhuvan Map Interface.

This tool enhances transparency and citizen engagement in rural livelihood programs by allowing direct communication and information flow between citizens and the governance system. Janmanrega supports proactive disclosure of information, promotes good governance, and aims to improve the quality of public services linked to MGNREGA implementation.
