Zovo Legible is built for dyslexic and low-vision readers, and for anyone who finds dense pages tiring. Turn it on for the current domain, choose a bundled dyslexia-friendly typeface, and tune the page to your own reading rhythm.

READING TOOLS

• Dyslexia-friendly fonts — OpenDyslexic and Lexend are bundled with the extension, load offline, and can be selected per site. • Line-height control — add vertical breathing room from 1.2 to 2.4. • Letter-spacing control — adjust tracking from 0 to 0.18em. • Readable content width — narrow long article lines to a comfortable 480–1200px measure. • Reading ruler — a cursor-tracking focus band isolates one line at a time. Arrow keys move it; Escape dismisses it. • Clear link cues — thicker, offset underlines help links remain visible without relying on color alone. • Contrast boost — a mature page-aware rendering core separates text from page backgrounds while preserving page structure.

PER-SITE MEMORY

Every popup change is saved against the current domain. A news site can use OpenDyslexic and a narrow measure while a documentation site uses Lexend, more line height, and the reading ruler. Reload the page and the profile returns automatically.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Settings and domain profiles stay in Chrome local storage. There is no analytics, telemetry, advertising SDK, or page-content upload. The only request to a Zovo service happens when you choose to verify a licence key. The contrast renderer may read page stylesheets through the extension service worker so it can adjust page colors locally.

OpenDyslexic and Lexend ship with their font licence notice. The mature rendering core ships with its MIT notice. No remote code is used.

Some websites are simply harder to read than they need to be, especially when the text is cramped or the lines are too wide. Zovo Legible gives me a lot of control over those details without changing the whole site. The per-site settings are probably my favorite part, since different pages can need different adjustments. The reading ruler and link cues are nice touches too.
