Punya - Gau Seva & Donations

Punya is the official app of Punya Charitable Trust, a registered charitable trust in India working for cow welfare together with partner gaushalas (cow shelters). Through the app you can support gau seva directly: make a donation, sponsor a cow, and follow the gaushalas you help.

Browse freely as a guest, or sign in to donate and receive receipts. Every contribution is a voluntary charitable donation to Punya Charitable Trust for the trust's own cow-welfare programs.

What you can do in Punya:

- Browse partner gaushalas with photos and details.
- Explore individual cows with their profiles - name, photo, age and story - and sponsor a cow through a donation.
- Choose from a seva catalog of fixed-amount donations such as feed and medical care, with one-time and recurring options.
- Make a quick donation using preset amounts (₹111, ₹501, ₹1001) or enter a custom amount.
- Pay securely through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking) or your own UPI app.
- Collect Punya points - gratitude and karma points recognising your seva, with ranks, badges, streaks and a leaderboard. Punya points have no cash value and cannot be redeemed; they are simply a way to recognise your participation.
- Read stories about cow welfare and watch "Life of Mata" video shorts.
- View your donation history and receipts in the app, and edit your profile name, email and avatar.
- Invite friends with referral codes (referrals credit Punya points only).

Transparency and trust:

A receipt is issued for every donation, and your full donation history is available in the app. Browsing works without an account - sign-in is needed only to donate so that receipts can be issued. Payments are handled securely by Razorpay or your own UPI app; the app never stores your card or UPI credentials. You can delete your account from within the app at any time.

Sign-in uses TinTorch Account single sign-on, which opens in a secure browser sheet.
