User Reviews

Users praise its Nextcloud integration, password generation, and ease of use when connected. Repeated complaints focus on confusing desktop pairing (mobile/QR-centric), weak autofill/web form integration requiring manual steps, lack of a master‑password/lock, and occasional connection/reliability problems. Overall useful but needs better desktop pairing, autofill and security controls.
Pros
  • Integrates well with the Nextcloud Passwords app and ecosystem
  • Generates and stores secure passwords
  • Easy to set up and use once connected
  • Reported as efficient and functional by multiple users
Cons
  • Desktop pairing/connection is confusing or appears mobile‑oriented (QR/code) with missing pairing UI
  • Poor web autofill integration — does not reliably auto-fill username/password fields and requires using the extension UI
  • No master‑password/lock mechanism — users worry about immediate access to stored passwords
  • Limited in‑addon account management (difficulty creating/pairing accounts or adding entries manually)
  • Connection reliability issues — may fail to connect at startup and not recover automatically

There seems to be no way to use it on desktop. Some QR-Code is presented, or alternatively a code to input. But absolutely nowhere to put it in. Seem like this is only meant for mobile, which is a shame. And a waste of my time, this should be communicated earlier. Installed the Nextcloud app. installed the Firefox plugin. I am left with nowhere to go now, no way to connect the two.
