NetSense NMS

NetSense NMS is the mobile companion to NetSense, the network monitoring platform for FTTH internet service providers. It gives field engineers and NOC staff the network they already monitor on the web, on their phone, with the same accounts and permissions.

Requires a NetSense account. The app connects to your organisation's NetSense server; your NetSense administrator provides the sign-in, or a setup link / QR code that configures the app in one tap. It cannot be used without one.

See the whole network at a glance
• Home dashboard: device health, port status, active alarms by severity, and offline ONUs by how long they have been down
• Every monitored device: OLTs, switches, BNGs, servers and more, with CPU, memory, temperature, uptime and availability
• Live port traffic, utilisation and optical power, with history charts

Find and fix subscriber problems
• Search ONUs across the network by serial number, MAC address or description
• RX/TX optical power with colour-coded thresholds, status history and why an ONU went down (dying gasp, LOS, …)
• Syslog search per device

Fiber map
• The OLT → splitter → ONU tree on a map, with live status on every marker
• Zoom from the OLT's primary splitters down to individual ONUs, search to jump to one
• Record the GPS position of an ONU or splitter while you install it

Network map
• View your saved network topology maps with live link status and traffic

Handle alarms from the field
• Active alarms by severity, device, site and zone
• Acknowledge, reopen or suppress an alarm with a note, and assign it to yourself or a colleague
• Full alarm history: who acknowledged, suppressed or reassigned it, and when
• Notifications for new critical and major alarms while the app is running
