SecretMsg: Anonymous Q&A

Share one link. Collect honest questions. Reply on your terms.

SecretMsg gives you a personal link you can drop in your Instagram story, TikTok bio, or a group chat. Anyone who opens it can send you an anonymous question or message — no account, no sign-up, nothing to install. You read everything in the app and decide what to answer.

WHAT YOU GET

• Your own secret link — one short URL that belongs to you
• An inbox for everything people send you
• Double-blind replies: answer a sender without either of you learning who the other is
• Prompt roulette: 9,000 conversation starters when you want ideas
• Sticker Studio: 32 designs, each set in its own typeface, exporting a 1080×1920 PNG that drops straight into your story

CONTROLS THAT ARE ACTUALLY YOURS

• Filtered Words — build your own blocklist of words, phrases, or emoji. Anything matching is refused at the moment someone tries to send it.
• Pause Submissions — freeze your link for an hour, six hours, a day, or indefinitely. Senders see a friendly notice instead of a form.
• Report — flag anything abusive straight from the message.
• Delete your account — wipe your profile and every message you have received, permanently, from Settings or at https://secretmsg.net/delete-account without the app. No email required, no waiting.

PRIVACY BY DEFAULT

Senders are anonymous to you, and you are anonymous to senders. We do not ask a sender for a name, a phone number, or an account — there is nothing to hand over. We do not sell your data to anyone.

VIEW ON THE WEB

Prefer a bigger screen? Settings gives you a short pairing code. Type it at secretmsg.net and that browser unlocks the inbox, the prompt roulette, and the Sticker Studio for the session. Reading is view-only, so your settings and replies stay on your phone.

HOW IT'S FUNDED

SecretMsg is an independent, open-source project. It is free to use and ad-supported: a small banner, and a short optional video you can watch for a streak freeze. One one-off purchase — remove ads — takes them away for good, and the app stays otherwise free. Nothing behind a subscription. Ads in the Android app only; the website has none.

A NOTE ON KINDNESS

Anonymity should make people braver, not crueller. Messages that threaten, harass, or target anyone are not welcome here and are removed. If something crosses a line, report it — and use Filtered Words and Pause Submissions freely, they exist so the inbox stays yours.
