User Reviews

Users generally find Orb useful for checking home network and internet connection quality, calling it easy, straightforward, and good for diagnosing issues. It is praised for working across Android, Windows, and Linux devices. Multiple reviewers report sign-in problems on Android. Several note that results depend heavily on the test server, and there is no option to choose a provider. Other reports mention unclear purpose, unreliable offline alerts, and installation restrictions, though these appear in only one review each.

Pros

Useful for monitoring home network and internet connection quality
Easy, straightforward tool that shows whether a connection is actually good, not just its speed
Works across multiple devices and platforms, including Android, Windows, and Linux

Cons

Sign-in problems on Android phones are reported by more than one user
Results depend on the test server or provider, with no option to switch providers, and some servers perform poorly
