User Reviews

Moon Phases Lite is valued for its rich lunar/solar data and built-in weather, plus ease of use and cross-device reliability. However, several reviews point to stability issues on certain Android versions, with crashes or unresponsive UI. Location-based data can be inaccurate (e.g., moon rise/set times for some places, weather location mix-ups). Some users also dislike new community prompts tied to updates. Overall, core features are strong and widely praised, but maintenance and data accuracy on specific devices affect satisfaction.

Pros

Comprehensive lunar and solar data with an integrated weather forecast.
Easy to use and highly informative, suitable for quick reference and planning outdoor activities.
Long-standing reliability across devices; many users keep it through years and reinstall on new phones.
Concise moon-phase information and data at a glance, helpful for quick reference.

Cons

Stability and compatibility issues on certain Android versions/devices (crashes, freezes, unresponsive UI).
Location and data accuracy problems, including incorrect moon rise/set times for some cities and weather data tied to the wrong location.
Updates and new community features can be off-putting, with some users forced to join or avoid updates.

Recent reviews

Very informative fun and easy-to-use app. Not too many lunar/sun info apps offer weather. This one does! Everything you need to know about lunar and solar activity is in this app plus extras. Just wish there was an option to remove ads. But, the ads are non-intrusive and small. Highly recommended.

Hello, does this app still work and my phone is glitching or has it ceased to work altogether? I can't even press any buttons to find supoort there, it's just all blank and doesn't charge the info. It's a great app, no frills unlike most. Have had it for many years. Hope all is well! Best regards
