Remove embedded AI-label triggers

Social platforms may use C2PA, IPTC and other information stored inside an image to add an “AI info,” “Made with AI” or similar label.

The app checks for readable AI-generation and editing signals, shows what it finds, and removes supported embedded information before you share. This is useful when a real photograph receives an AI label after an AI-assisted edit.

Depending on the file, the scanner can identify readable references associated with ChatGPT, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Higgsfield, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL-E, Flux, ComfyUI and other recognized AI workflows.

Detectable AI information may include:

Remove EXIF and hidden photo metadata

A photo can reveal more than its visible pixels. Scan for and remove supported private information such as:

• Exact GPS latitude and longitude
• Camera or phone maker and model
• Camera-body or lens serial number
• Capture date, time and time zone
• Artist, author, copyright and comments
• Editing software and processing history
• EXIF, XMP, IPTC and JPEG comments

When GPS coordinates are found, view them and open the exact position in Google Maps or a browser. The app reads location stored inside the photo. It never uses your phone’s current location.

Unlimited privacy scans

Scan photos and view privacy reports without using cleaning credits. AI-label information, location data and private metadata are separated clearly so you know what is hidden before removing anything.

Standard Clean

Recommended for most photos. It removes supported AI-label information, Content Credentials, GPS, EXIF, XMP, IPTC, device details, dates, authorship and editing traces while avoiding unnecessary rebuilding of the visible image.

Choose What to Remove

Remove only GPS location when technically possible, or choose Remove Everything to strip all supported metadata. If GPS cannot be removed independently from XMP, the app may rebuild the image so coordinates are not left behind.

Fresh Copy

Create a brand-new file from the visible pixels at the original dimensions. Fresh Copy removes the source image’s original metadata containers for maximum sharing compatibility.

It never overwrites the original. JPEG images may be recompressed, so Fresh Copy is not described as lossless or automatically better than Standard Clean.

Post-clean verification

The app scans the exported copy and reports whether the targeted information was removed. Your original is never overwritten or deleted. Cleaned copies are saved inside Pictures › AI Label & Metadata Remover and can be shared directly.

Photo formats

Specialized cleaning is available for JPEG, PNG and WebP. Some Android-readable HEIC or HEIF files may be converted to a clean JPEG or PNG. Support depends on the device, Android version and readable file data.

Important scope

This is an AI metadata remover, not a visual AI image detector. It does not judge whether pixels look AI-generated or claim authenticity when no embedded AI information is found.

It removes supported file-level metadata. It cannot remove visible watermarks, recover missing GPS coordinates or guarantee how a third-party platform will classify an image using other systems.
