PrintBot is often easy to set up and works with a wide range of network printers, with good print previews when it functions. However, recurring issues include a watermark/limit on the free version and licensing friction, plus reliability problems like failed prints, long delays, or errors on Android. License updates and price hikes also surface as pain points. A few printers are not supported. Overall, it can be very capable but stability and licensing are common drawbacks.

Cons

Watermark on the free/unpaid version after a small quota and recurring licensing/paywall issues
Reliability issues: occasional prints fail, long delays or error pages on Android
License and pricing problems: updates requiring extra payments and licenses not consistently recognized
Some printers are not supported or can produce bad output (e.g., certain HP models, Zebra printers)

works very well with workcentre 3210, didn't even need to set up anything, I just downloaded it and it works

LPR mode with brother HL-L2400D on Asus router always caused a paper out error with each print job that would clear after cycling the paper drawer out then back in on printer. The printer would then print the job. LPR works fine with from all of my Windows and Linux computers on the network, just not with Android phones using Printbot.
