"Monster Hunter" is a hunting action game for PlayStation 2 (PS2) released by Capcom in 2004, and its series.


It was released as the first in the series with the motif of the PlayStation 2 software system released on March 11, 2004. The armor skill system is not a cumulative number, but a mechanism that activates when you wear armor that bears the name of the same monster. As an exception, there were some different types of armor that activated the skill in a specific combination.
