wheel of Winner

wheel of Winner is a field companion for looking at buildings properly. It holds the styles, the vocabulary to tell them apart, a bench to try them yourself, and a journal for the ones you meet on the street.

DISCOVER THE STYLES ✨
Browse the catalogue as a grid or a list 📋 and open any style to its own sheet: the period it ran, where it came from, what it emphasises, the geometry it is built on, and a plain-language 🗣️ overview. Gothic reads 12th-16th century, France spreading across Europe, vertical emphasis, pointed ascending lines and intricate tracery. Every style carries tags such as Classical or Ornamental, so families of styles group naturally.

COMPARE TWO STYLES ⚖️
Put any two styles head to head. wheel of Winner scores how close they are, then walks the attributes one by one and marks each as similar or different: period, origin, emphasis, geometry. Filter 🎚️ to just the similarities or just the differences when you are trying to settle one specific question, and save 💾 a comparison you want to keep.

STUDIO: DESIGN A FACADE
Combine arches, roofs, windows and colours and watch 👀 the facade redraw live. As you build 🔨, wheel of Winner names the style your design sits closest to, so you learn 📖 the grammar by using it rather than memorising it. Feeling stuck, tap 👆 Surprise me or start 🚀 from an existing style, then name your creation and save 💾 it.

JOURNAL: RECORD WHAT YOU SEE 👀
Log 📝 a building the moment you notice it: give it a title and a place, tag the style, add a date and a photo 📸. The journal searches your own observations and sorts them by newest, oldest or title, filters by style, and keeps the ones you marked as favourites within reach.

MADE FOR THE STREET
Everything runs on the device 📱 and your journal stays there. Reduce motion for simpler transitions, switch haptic feedback off, and choose whether Discover ✨ opens as a grid or a list 📋. You can reset your progress 📈 while keeping the journal and its photos 📸, or clear the journal entirely - both are yours to decide.

Look up. Name what you see 👀.
