User Reviews

ZotEZ² is praised for being the most functional Zotero Android app with good cloud sync and local repository support, supporting large libraries and E-ink readers. However, users frequently report bugs, crashes, and unreliable syncing that hamper experience. The UI is better than alternatives but still has flaws such as hidden buttons and slow navigation. Important features often require payment, and accessing PDFs or saving annotations is problematic. Despite these shortcomings, ongoing development provides some optimism for improvements.

Can't connect. Error saving the key. And the big cancel button under the right thumb is really not user-friendly. The actually NEXT blue button is hidden.

First, all worked more or less fine. Syncing with Zotero-cloud and Documents stored on Nextcloud (via WebDav) suddenly it stopped working. Whenever I try to sync, the message "your library is up to date" but now articles appear in the library and there are over 100 new Articles that are not transferred. Sad, it was a practical app until this point.
