It is irritating to have to swap back and forth between battery and 'phone to make band and locator changes, and then to recommence transmissions due to the need to connect up in an appropriate sequence, but that is a Google issue regarding the implementation of USB OTG. Sometimes I can get the "Y" lead to work, more often not, so I abandon it and return to USB plug gymnastics. Otherwise this app is just fine for the purpose and I thank the devs for facilitating it.
