Calaym (Classic)

Note: There are a few issues with newer android versions and google play store requirements. Please try the new "Redux" version. It's still in development and has some bugs, but addresses the issues the "Classic" version has.

Calaym is a lightweight, directory/filename orientated music player.

Features:
- The interface is simple, you can use a tabbed interface, or slide left/right between 'views'; In landscape mode on large screen devices, two 'views' will be shown.
- integrated search, deleting and sharing (as provided by android/other apps) of songs
- fade-in/out and crossfade
- excelent media button support; click to start the player/pause/unpause; long-click to skip songs.
- update Last.fm and/or Libre.fm if the the proper app ("Last.fm Scrobbler" or "Simple Last.fm Scrobbler") is installed (files should be properly named)
- Free, ad-free, open-source
- Media scanner / library independent. You can run Calaym without first having to wait for the media scanner to finish.
- Lyric support. Be sure the lyric files are UTF-8 lrc files placed next to your music files.

Requirements:
- Android 1.6? (Tested with 2.3.6)
- Music files located in external storage / memory card in folder /Music (Note the capital 'M').

Tips:
- Long click the repeat mode button to toggle folder based repeat
- You can click on directories / files to quickly switch to folderlist, filelist and player view
- You can long-click on files to invoke a popup menu for additional options (sharing / deleting)
- Long-click on the duration text to toggle between elapsed and remaining time
- If you find Calaym satisfying and use your device primary for music listening, contact us for the launcher edition (also free, ad-free, open-source).
- If you use no other music player(s), there is an option to hide the Music folder from the media scanner.

Permissions:
- Storage: modify/delete USB storage contents
Allowes to delete songs, creation of .nomedia file for the music folder...
- Phone calls: Read phone status and ID
Calaym will fade in/out on incoming/outgoing calls
- Hardware controls: control vibrator
